Professional background

I was a futures trader with an Irish company called Positive Equity for the past 13 years. I started my career in Dublin but have lived in NYC for the last 8 years. While a futures trader, I used quite a bit of my profits to do some angel investing, mostly at the seed stage. I've invested in the finance, security, cannabis, real estate, coworking office and entertainment spaces. I'm also a cofounder of an IT recruitment company in Dublin.
